About Us
Welcome to Small Sprouts Day School! We are a small preschool and childcare center that will be opening in Southern Maine in September of 2022. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue our opening process. Please stay tuned for updates!
Our Programs
Full Time Child Care
Children enrolled in full time child care will be able to attend school from 7:00am - 6:00pm. This includes their age group's preschool session from 9:00am-12:00pm on either Tuesday/Thursdays (3 year olds) or Monday/Wednesday/Friday (4 year olds) as well as continued social and learning opportunities before and after.
Preschool (3 year olds)
Children enrolled in our preschool program will attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-12:00pm. Our program will focus on child lead learning, emotional intelligence, and ample outside play opportunities.

Pre-K (4 year olds)
Children enrolled in our Pre-K program will attend school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am-12:00pm. Our program will focus on child lead learning, emotional intelligence, and ample outside play opportunities.

Multi-Age Afternoon
Children enrolled in our multi-age afternoon session will attend school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00pm-4:00pm. This session will be offered to 3 and 4 year olds and will provide a unique learning experience where children are able to learn from each other and embrace learning differences.
Our Philosophy
Small Sprouts will be focused on fostering emotional intelligence through play based learning, creating a relationship with nature with ample structured and unstructured outdoor time, and preparing for school with small ratios and child led learning opportunities.
Caregivers will not be forgotten; Small Sprouts will also focus on building community relations, empowering parents, and maintaining a well trained, educated, supported, and cared for staff.
Small Sprouts will be a space where everyone in our community is welcomed and supported.
